When does the enrolment process start?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

At Beacon, we cater to Indonesian and international students, and as such our enrolment process is open all year round. Parents are encouraged to get in touch with the admissions team as early as possible prior to your child\u2019s planned start date at the school.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

What is the application process?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

If you have not already done so, please\u00a0schedule a tour<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of the school with our Admissions Team. Once completed, parents are invited to fill the\u00a0Admissions Form<\/span><\/a>. The Admissions Team will then get in touch with you to schedule a time for your child\u2019s placement test and interview.<\/p>

Once confirmed, an Offer Letter will be issued. A non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your child\u2019s place within 7 days of receiving the letter.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Why do students need to sit a placement test before being accepted into Beacon?<\/span><\/i><\/div>

Testing helps provide a more informed admissions process beyond date of application. A test followed by an interview with a lead teacher or coordinator has been an essential part of our Admissions Process and allows the school to get to know your child\u2019s needs better.\u00a0<\/p>

Prospective students do not need to do any preparation and should just do the best they can on the day. The test is only one factor to determine acceptance: school reports and the result of the interview are also main considerations. Students enrolling in Preschool are exempted from this process.<\/p>

Students enrolling in Year 1 sit a placement test and interview in a more relaxed setting, whereby a coordinator\/homeroom teacher will always be present to guide the child through the questions. We value students who are willing to try new things, embrace new challenges and do their best. Learning support is available in the Junior School to assist students with learning difficulties. However, it’s important to understand that we may not have the resources to provide extensive support for students with severe learning challenges or additional developmental needs. Where do students go after they leave Beacon? Beacon students are encouraged to work hard, support each other and follow their passions. Almost all our graduates go to university to continue their studies in countries such as USA, UK, EU, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, China and Korea.
