Dalam program musik IBDP, siswa diwajibkan menyelesaikan komponen \u201cPresenting as a Performer\u201d, di mana mereka menunjukkan kemampuan melalui sebuah resital solo secara langsung. Penampilan ini merupakan bagian penting dari penilaian, yang dirancang untuk menonjolkan keterampilan musik, kreativitas, dan perkembangan mereka sepanjang program.<\/span><\/p>

Bagi siswa, resital ini menjadi kesempatan untuk menampilkan kemahiran teknis sekaligus ekspresi artistik. Mereka didorong untuk memilih karya yang sesuai dengan diri mereka, sehingga dapat mengeksplorasi berbagai genre dan gaya musik. Baik itu musik klasik, karya kontemporer, hingga komposisi orisinal, repertoar yang dipilih mencerminkan perjalanan musikal serta minat pribadi masing-masing. Keragaman pilihan ini membantu siswa memperdalam pemahaman tentang musik, mulai dari sisi teknis hingga makna emosional dan budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya.<\/span><\/p>

Persiapan menuju resital tentu bukan hal yang mudah. Siswa berfokus menyempurnakan keterampilan teknis seperti tempo, warna suara, dan artikulasi, sekaligus meningkatkan kepercayaan diri di panggung serta kemampuan berinteraksi dengan audiens. Latihan rutin, umpan balik dari guru, serta refleksi diri menjadi kunci dalam proses persiapan. Mereka dituntut tampil dengan percaya diri, tidak hanya menunjukkan kemampuan bermusik, tetapi juga menyampaikan emosi dan makna melalui penampilan mereka.<\/span><\/p>

Komponen \u201cPresenting as a Performer\u201d lebih dari sekadar penilaian keterampilan teknis; siswa juga harus menyusun pertunjukan yang terencana dengan baik, mengalir dengan lancar, dan mampu menonjolkan kekuatan masing-masing. Karena tampil secara solo, setiap siswa diharapkan menghadirkan resital yang matang, utuh, serta menampilkan bakat dan ekspresi artistik pribadi.<\/span><\/p>
