Pada tanggal 27 dan 28 Mei 2025, Junior School Beacon Academy dengan bangga mempersembahkan PACA (Performing and Creative Arts) Showcase\u00a0 <\/span>berskala besar yang pertama dengan tema \u201cKindness and Courage: Colours of the Heart\u201d.<\/span><\/i>Acara perdana ini mempertemukan siswa, guru, orang tua, serta tamu dari berbagai sekolah di Jakarta dalam sebuah perayaan penuh kegembiraan akan kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan kasih sayang.<\/span><\/p>

Terinspirasi dari kisah <\/span>The Selfish Giant<\/span><\/i> karya Oscar Wilde, seluruh showcase dibangun di atas satu alur cerita yang dipresentasikan melalui berbagai bentuk seni. Koridor lantai tiga dan empat diubah menjadi galeri interaktif, dipenuhi instalasi, kolase, patung, dan karya seni media campuran hasil kreasi siswa. Karya-karya ini tidak hanya menawan secara estetis, tetapi juga kaya makna, mencerminkan keterlibatan mendalam siswa terhadap tema-tema kontemporer yang penuh arti seperti kebaikan, pertumbuhan emosional, dan transformasi.<\/span><\/p>

Siswa Junior School menunjukkan semangat besar untuk bereksplorasi dan bereksperimen, dengan berani merangkul seni konseptual serta mengekspresikan diri mereka melalui material dan teknik yang inovatif. Komitmen mereka dalam menghasilkan karya yang berkualitas tinggi dan penuh pemikiran patut diapresiasi.<\/span><\/p>

Tim seni guru seni rupa, musik, drama, dan tari bekerja tanpa lelah dalam persiapan acara, merancang sebuah pertunjukan yang menyatukan alur visual, musik jalanan, narasi drama, serta pertunjukan tari. Dedikasi mereka memastikan kisah The Selfish Giant hadir dengan penuh makna dan harmoni.<\/span><\/p>

Acara ini menjadi tonggak pertama bagi Beacon, menandai babak baru dalam cara sekolah merayakan seni. Komunitas sekolah hadir dengan dukungan penuh, termasuk partisipasi hangat dari orang tua, anggota Dewan, serta guru dari sekolah lain. Kehadiran dan dorongan mereka sangat dihargai.<\/span><\/p>

On 27th and 28th May 2025, the Junior School at Beacon Academy proudly presented its very first large-scale Performing and Creative Arts (PACA) Showcase\u00a0 \u201cKindness and Courage: Colours of the Heart\u201d. This pioneering event brought together students, teachers, parents, and visitors from schools across Jakarta in a joyful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and compassion. Inspired by The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde, the entire showcase was built around a unified storyline, unfolding across various artistic expressions. The corridors of the third and fourth floors were transformed into interactive exhibition galleries, filled with student created installations, collages, sculptures, and mixed media artworks. These works were not only aesthetically impressive but also conceptually rich, reflecting students\u2019 deep engagement with contemporary and meaningful themes such as kindness, emotional growth, and transformation. JS students demonstrated a genuine willingness to explore and experiment, embracing conceptual art and expressing themselves through innovative materials and techniques. Their commitment to producing high-quality, thoughtful artwork was truly commendable. The arts team,\u00a0 visual art, music, drama, and dance teachers worked tirelessly in the lead-up to the event, designing a cohesive showcase that wove together visual storytelling, musical busking, dramatic narration, and dance performances. Their dedication ensured that the tale of the selfish giant was brought to life with heart and harmony. This event was a first for Beacon and marked a new chapter in how we celebrate the arts. The school community came together in full support, with warm participation from parents, Board members, and teachers from other schools. Their presence and encouragement were deeply appreciated. This pioneering event brought together students, teachers, parents, and visitors from schools across Jakarta in a joyful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and compassion. Inspired by The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde, the entire showcase was built around a unified storyline, unfolding across various artistic expressions. The corridors of the third and fourth floors were transformed into interactive exhibition galleries, filled with student created installations, collages, sculptures, and mixed media artworks. These works were not only aesthetically impressive but also conceptually rich, reflecting students\u2019 deep engagement with contemporary and meaningful themes such as kindness, emotional growth, and transformation. JS students demonstrated a genuine willingness to explore and experiment, embracing conceptual art and expressing themselves through innovative materials and techniques. Their commitment to producing high-quality, thoughtful artwork was truly commendable. The arts team,\u00a0 visual art, music, drama, and dance teachers worked tirelessly in the lead-up to the event, designing a cohesive showcase that wove together visual storytelling, musical busking, dramatic narration, and dance performances. Their dedication ensured that the tale of the selfish giant was brought to life with heart and harmony. This event was a first for Beacon and marked a new chapter in how we celebrate the arts. The school community came together in full support, with warm participation from parents, Board members, and teachers from other schools. Their presence and encouragement were deeply appreciated.
