As part of the school\u2019s ongoing commitment to the music curriculum, this event provides a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their learning, creativity, and confidence through performance. The concert is planned as an annual celebration of students\u2019 musical growth and achievements and is part of the Music Department\u2019s annual programme, Beacon Music Week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students from Year 1 to Year 5 performed with great enthusiasm, using both their voices and a variety of instruments such as recorder, pianica, ukulele, violin, piano, and percussion. They also explored world traditional instruments, including angklung, rindik, dutar, and djembe. Their performances reflected not only their developing technical skills but also their growing confidence in expressing themselves through music.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme featured a wide range of performances, such as solo singing, solo instrumental pieces, class singing, ensembles, vocal groups, as well as contributions from the JS String Orchestra and Choir. Each segment was carefully arranged to create a smooth and engaging flow, forming a connected musical journey.
