“Move It, Move It!”: Beacon Preschoolers Shine in Spectacular Madagascar Production

On 30 April, our school stage transformed into a wild jungle as our talented preschoolers performed Madagascar. The Annual Production was a spectacular showcase of creativity, music, and joy.

Excitement filled the air as the show began at 10.00 am. Our students, from the brave N1 toddlers to our graduating K2 leaders, delivered truly wonderful performances. The audience cheered for confident lions, sassy zebras, and dancing hippos who certainly knew how to “move it, move it!”. Even our youngest Wobblers showed remarkable courage as they stepped onto the big stage for the very first time in their adorable animal costumes, proving that no one is ever too small to be brave.

Beyond the bright lights and colourful costumes, the production was also a meaningful learning journey. During weeks of rehearsal, the children discovered the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Like the characters in the story, they learned that we are strongest when we support one another. The performance also highlighted the values of courage, kindness, and inner beauty, reminding us all that home is wherever your friends are.

It was truly heartwarming to witness the children’s growth and confidence throughout the journey. Many who were once shy found their “roar” and performed with confidence and pride. We extend our sincere gratitude to the teachers, parents, and sponsors who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make 30 April such a memorable occasion. Bravo to all our little stars!
