BASE 2026: Exploring Science, Technology and Imagination at Beacon Academy

On 17 September 2026, Beacon Academy hosted BASE 2026 (Beacon Academy Science Expo), the school’s annual science fair for Middle and Senior School students, bringing together curiosity, creativity and innovation through a dynamic showcase of student learning.

The event gave students the opportunity to explore science beyond the classroom through hands-on projects, experiments, models and interactive activities.

This year’s theme, “Innovate, Explore, Transform: Where Science Meets Technology and Imagination,” reflected the spirit of the event, encouraging students to question, investigate and turn ideas into meaningful learning experiences.

Exploring Science Across Four Disciplines

Students explored a wide range of projects and experiments across Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science. From scientific experiments and working models to technology-based activities, each discipline offered students opportunities to engage with concepts through observation, experimentation and practical application.

BASE 2026 also incorporated E-Sports, connecting science and technology with an activity that resonates with today’s students. As part of the event, Middle School students competed in a Brawl Stars E-Sports Tournament, representing their respective houses: Fire, Earth, Water and Air.

Learning Through Exploration

More than simply showcasing projects, BASE 2026 encouraged students to become active participants in the learning process. Through experiments, demonstrations and interactive activities, students explored how scientific concepts can move from ideas and theories into practical applications.

The integration of Computer Science and E-Sports also highlighted the increasingly interconnected nature of science and technology, demonstrating how different disciplines can come together to create engaging and relevant learning experiences.

Be Curious. Be Creative. Be the Future.

Through BASE 2026, Beacon Academy continued to foster a culture where students are encouraged to be curious, think creatively and explore new possibilities. The event celebrated not only scientific knowledge, but also the willingness to ask questions, experiment with ideas and learn through discovery.

BASE 2026 was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and innovation — inspiring students to explore today and shape the future.
