On Monday afternoon, February 3rd, our Year 1 and Year 2 students marked a special milestone—their 100th Day of School! To celebrate, they took part in a variety of fun, hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and self-management skills.
Students began in their classrooms before making their own choices about which stations to visit next. Moving around together with friends, they explored 100 Dot Art, where they painted colorful masterpieces while counting, and tested their skills in 100-Second Challenges, testing their agility and quick-thinking skills. At the “I Am 100 Years Old” writing station, they imagined their lives at 100, while the Make a 100 math station had them building number combinations using manipulatives. At the “100 Reasons Why” station, students reflected on meaningful prompts and shared their thoughts.
Throughout the afternoon, students took responsibility for their stamp passports, making sure they visited as many stations as possible while managing their time wisely. It was such a joyful, fun, and wonderful afternoon for all the students, filled with excitement, laughter, and a great sense of independence!
The 100th Day of School was a fantastic way to celebrate our students’ learning and growth—here’s to the next 100 days of fun and discovery!
