On September 17, 2024, the 12th batch of the Innovative Schools Programme (ISP) for the 2024-2025 academic year was officially launched. This transformative training and professional development initiative, spearheaded by Yayasan Emmanuel and supported by the Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi DKI Jakarta, aims to enhance the quality of education across the region. This year’s programme engages 30 schools and approximately 300 educators and principals, all focused on fostering educational innovation.
Beacon Academy was honoured to host the launch event and play a key role as a facilitator in the programme. Our educators will be working closely with eight surrounding public schools, collaborating with 80 educators and principals in a shared learning experience. The ISP consists of 10 interactive sessions designed to take place from September through March, with a focus on teaching and learning methodologies that benefit both educators and students.
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Beacon Academy proudly kicked off the first of the 10 professional development sessions for teachers and principals from nearby public schools. These sessions were and will be led by our own dedicated teachers, who are eager to share their knowledge of pedagogy and instructional methods. The first day marked the beginning of a collaborative journey in which our educators provided hands-on training, demonstrating best practices in teaching and learning.
This programme is an invaluable opportunity for Beacon Academy to share expertise, while also learning from the experiences of neighbouring schools. Through this partnership, we aim to contribute to the broader educational community, fostering growth, innovation, and lasting positive change for educators and students alike.
