The PYP Exhibition 2024-25 was a celebration of student-led inquiry, research, and action, bringing to life the theme ‘How the World Works.’ Year 5 students showcased their learning through engaging exhibits, hands-on models, and thought-provoking discussions, demonstrating their understanding of real-world challenges and innovative solutions.
The event began with Creative Expressions, inspired by The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind. Through drama, dance, instrumental performances using recyclable materials, and powerful speeches in “Beacon Speaks,” students highlighted how small actions can make a big impact. They emphasized how the virtues of resilience, purposefulness, and courage help us achieve our dreams and work towards a better future.
The exhibition covered a range of topics, including space exploration, AI advancements, energy conservation, environmental responsibility, and disaster preparedness. Students explored the impact of these issues and proposed meaningful solutions, emphasizing the importance of sustainability, ethics, and preparedness in today’s world.
Beyond research, students shared how they applied Mathematics to real-life contexts, using measurements, data analysis, and problem-solving to deepen their understanding. Their ability to transfer knowledge across disciplines showcased their critical thinking and inquiry skills.
Adding to the excitement was the Game Zone, where visitors participated in themed activities like Hopscotch through Space, Energy Jenga, and Snakes & Ladders on Conservation. These interactive games made learning fun while reinforcing key concepts.
The PYP Exhibition was more than just a presentation—it was a testament to student agency, collaboration, and creativity. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to making a difference were truly inspiring.
As these young learners take their next steps, they carry with them the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to shape a better future. Here’s to the changemakers of tomorrow!
