Empowering Futures: Beacon Students Explored Sampoerna University

On Wednesday, 6 November 2024, Beacon’s Year 11 and 12 students embarked on an enriching visit to Sampoerna University, an opportunity designed to broaden their horizons and prepare them for future academic pursuits. This compulsory, free-of-charge event ran from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the L’avenue Building in Pancoran, South Jakarta.

During the visit, students immersed themselves in the vibrant international campus life, engaging in a range of captivating workshops tailored to their interests in business, engineering, and computer science. The workshops included a session on “3D Design Engineering & Technology” and “What’s Next After High School?” which focused on university preparation.

Students also connected with passionate faculty members who shared their insights and expertise, fostering a deeper understanding of transformative development opportunities available at the university. This visit aimed to empower students to elevate their campus life experience and make informed decisions about their academic futures. Overall, this event served as an invaluable stepping stone for our students as they navigated their educational journeys.
