Beacon Academy recently hosted its highly anticipated annual art exhibition, titled “RAW,” showcasing the remarkable talents and creativity of its students.
The exhibition, held from April 2nd to 4th, provided a platform for students to express themselves authentically and explore the raw beauty of artistic expressionFeaturing a diverse array of artworks, the exhibition offered visitors a candid glimpse into the artistic process. From vibrant paintings to intricate sculptures, each piece captured the unique perspectives and passions of its creator. The theme of “RAW” encouraged students to embrace imperfection and celebrate authenticity, resulting in a display of raw talent and creativity.Throughout the exhibition, students had the opportunity to share the stories behind their artworks and engage with visitors. Parents, friends, and members of the community were invited to attend and show their support for the budding artists. The event also attracted the attention of several magazines, providing students with the opportunity to receive recognition and appreciation for their hard work.Laura Tanuwidjaya, the Junior School (JS) and Middle School (MS) Visual Art Teacher at Beacon Academy, expressed her excitement about showcasing the talents of the students. “The theme of ‘RAW’ encouraged us to embrace imperfection and celebrate authenticity,” she said. “It’s inspiring to see our students express themselves so boldly and creatively.”Mr. Shambhu Shastri, the Middle School (MS) and Senior School (SS) art teacher, echoed these sentiments, stating, “The ‘RAW’ Art Exhibition serves as a testament to the dedication and creativity of our students.
